Thank you for a Jasper520 for sending in his submission Goodnight, Sweetdreams v1.1 by Jasper Out my window, all is but a dark sky, This empty room, alone again tonight. As I left my friends, last words heard were bye. I'll stare at walls, watching colors of white. Silently, my computer speaks, "Hi there." "My chat buddy! It's her!" I cry inside, Not my PC, but her, for her I care, I hesitate but some things I can't hide. It's been days since I last saw her, I miss her eyes, her smile, her pretty voice, I can still see her clearly, all else, blur. To type is not the same, it's not my choice. But strange and unnatural as typing seems, She makes my day typing, "Goodnight, sweetdreams." I'll see you soon; far, yet still close at heart. Not a second will you be forgotten. Far we have not gone, for we are apart But take this true, far my love has gotten. Closest I can get to you now is here. This may not be the greatest; no it's not, But, I promise, I'll be there for you dear, I will be there, rain or shine, cold or hot. But now, once again, you must be leaving, It's a pain now, to wait 'til tomorrow. I'll wait for you, even when I'm sleeping, Tomorrow, hope to see you, tomorrow. But as sorrowful as any goodbye seems, I'll enjoy responding, "Goodnight, Sweetdreams."
